About Us

College of Nursing Sciences Mbano commenced as a School of Nursing in 1983 under the proprietorship of the then Catholic Bishop of Okigwe Diocese, Most Rev. Dr. Anthony Ilonu., with Rev. Sr. Mary Thomas Anyanwu, IHM, as the pioneer Principal. To the glory of God, in Nov 2019, the institution transmuted into a College of Nursing Sciences. Till date, the institution runs as a private tertiary institution, under the management of the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mother of Christ, Nigeria, with Rev.
